round england 2005 (with a coolbox)

Kind of like Tony Hawks, but not.  This trip was inspired by Nava reading "In Search of England" by HV Morton.  So we thought we'd try and recreate it, destination-for-destination, with some extras and variety.

The blog has now been converted into pdf for off-line reading.

Internet

Ahhh the internet, isn't it great? Turning us all into mindless morons. It should be useful for tracking our journey round England plus my Mum will know where I am!

As Steve says the trip in currently "in development" and we are planning to roughly follow the route of "In Search of England" by HV Morton erstwhile editor of the Daily Mail!

Next task? Replace bits that have fallen off my car.

2nd post

oh yes

I don't understand this blogging and naming thing and who names what post and how it know who it posting what - do you have you own blogger account Nav? And did you have to set up your profile? Does that mean you have an account with your own choice of username and password, as well as being able to contribute this 'my' blog?

hello all,

date is 9th May 2005 - have done quite a bit of prep work for this "round england" trip, like finding places we want to go (we're actually following an old travel book) and places to stay. huge itinerary needs to be made up.

other things are happening too. more later. but first, how to align pictures (replace [] with <>).

[p align="left" or "center" or "right"][img src="http://URL" /][/p]

This is a picture of two snowmen - made in Jan. 2004 - sell-by-date long gone...
